Here’s a shocking statistic: 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and 1 in 3 of these cases will be metastatic. However, due to the efforts of Susan G. Komen and breast cancer researchers worldwide, the death rate from breast cancer has fallen by 40% since 1989! This number will only continue to get better with our support.
To do our part, our team here at A. Young Insurance will be supporting the efforts of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this quarter so that we can all fundraise towards a cure for breast cancer!
On Sunday, October 2, this incredible organization will be hosting the 2022 Komen Detroit Race for the Cure to fundraise money for their mission and to show solidarity with women fighting breast cancer near and far. To show our commitment to this cause, our agency will donate $10 on your behalf for every one of your friends, family, or coworkers you refer to us for a quote!
By joining us in our fundraising efforts and/or showing your support by attending the 2022 Komen Detroit Race for the Cure, we will all be doing our part in protecting the health and the lives of women everywhere!
